Theory Network

Do you enjoy engaging with theory, both in archaeology and other related cultural, historical, and social disciplines? Would you like to enhance your skills in reading, understanding, analysing and writing theory-related texts, acquiring profound knowledge of key theoretical discourses and their actors along the way? Then come and join the Theory Network!

The Theory Network (Theorie-Lesezirkel) was started in 2009. Since then, we have held over 150 sessions, during which we have read and discussed a wide variety of texts, invited interesting guests, and debated theoretical aspects of our own work. Everyone is welcome, no special knowledge is required!
