Doctoral student exchange
BerGSAS and various universities abroad have signed cooperation agreements and established an exchange program. Every year, this program gives BerGSAS doctoral students the opportunity to spend a semester or trimester (term) at the partner university and take part in courses there. They also gain access to the library and research facilities and have the opportunity to join excellent academic networks.
In return, the BerGSAS receives visiting doctoral students from the partner universities every year - normally for periods of one semester, though shorter stays are also possible. Visiting students benefit not only from the training program and the Berlin libraries, but also from the networking opportunities offered by the Berliner Antike-Kolleg.
