BerGSAS alumna Anne Herzberg-Beiersdorf has been honoured with the Hedwig Hintze Women's Prize of the Department of History and Cultural Studies at Freie Universität Berlin, retroactively for the year 2022.

The prize is awarded annually to honour a young female researcher for her outstanding dissertation. Unfortunately, the award had to be discontinued in 2022 due to the coronavirus pandemic and has now been made up for by the department.
