The BAK invites researchers to address its 2022/23 annual theme!
Our motto for the 2022/23 academic year is "Mit!Reden – Transdisciplinarity and Participation in Ancient Studies". We welcome proposals for transdisciplinary initiatives addressing this theme.

The BAK has funding available to support the investigation of transdisciplinary research questions, the promotion and development of non-academic research partnerships and the exploration of transdisciplinary research approaches in all fields of ancient studies research and research communication.
Researchers studying ancient cultures at the institutions represented within the BAK who hold a doctoral degree are welcome to submit their proposals on or before 31 March 2022.
