International Conference: Time and Materiality

Vom 19. – 21. März 2018 findet die internationale Konferenz zum Thema: „Time and Materiality. Periodization and Regional Chronologies at the Transition from Bronze to Iron Age in Eurasia (1200–600 BCE)“ statt.

Zeit und Materialität sind grundlegend für die Archäologie, daher laden im Rahmen des Projekts „Periodization of Ancient Cultures in Eurasia (10° W – 70° E)” Wolfram Schier und Elke Kaiser des Prähistorischen Instituts der Freien Universität Berlin in Zusammenarbeit mit Olga Shcheeglova (St. Petersburg) und Mayya Kashuba (St. Petrsburg) zur internationalen Konferenz zum Thema „Time and Materiality. Periodization and Regional Chronologies at the Transition from Bronze to Iron Age in Eurasia (1200–600 BCE)“ ein, um Konzepte der Periodisierung im Übergang von der Bronze– zur Eisenzeit in Eurasien zu erarbeiten.
